Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
RICS is the world's leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property, infrastructure and construction. Our surveyors hold AssocRICS status and follow RICS professional standards on every instruction. RICS regulates and promotes the profession, maintains the highest educational and professional standards, and protects clients and consumers via a strict code of ethics.
RICS Registered Valuer
Our valuers are registered with the RICS Valuer Registration Scheme, which requires specific competence in valuation, adherence to the RICS Red Book Global Standards, and regular monitoring. A RICS Registered Valuer is the only type of valuer accepted by HMRC, courts and most lenders for formal valuation purposes including probate, capital gains tax and matrimonial proceedings.
Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)
We are registered with the ICO and comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. All client data, property information and survey reports are handled securely and confidentially in accordance with data protection legislation.
RICS Home Survey Standard
We adhere to the mandatory RICS Home Survey Standard (2019) which sets out the minimum requirements for residential property surveys. This ensures consistency, transparency and quality across all three survey levels and gives clients clear expectations about what their survey will cover.
